INDEPTH PRODUCT REVIEW

The SF-T4400 is powered by the proprietary 2.2 Peak HP drive system that provides a smooth and quiet running experience. This motor allows you to run up to 9 mph with fine 0.1 mph incremental adjustments. Specially engineered to perform quiet and efficient operation, this advanced drive system not only minimizes noise but also reduces heat build-up within the treadmill and extends the life of the machine.

It has three incline position options to add more intensity to your workout. However, you have to manually set these incline positions. That means that you’ll need to exercise the entire time at your setting, or you’ll have to stop working out to adjust. While it is inconvenient, it’s what you’ll find on almost every treadmill in this price range.

SF-T4400 console
The SF-T4400 features a large console with backlit LCD screen that displays elapsed time, distance covered, speed, heart rate, and the number of calories burned. The console comes with nine different workout apps to choose from, which is quite impressive for its budget-friendly price tag. These programs include cardio exercises, speed training, and interval training.

In addition to the control on the console, there are handrail controls. This gives you better balance during your workout, allowing ample flexibility on speed, and control starting and stopping.

The treadmill’s belt is pretty decent for a treadmill at this price point. It has a running surface of 15.75 inches wide and 48.82 inches long, which gives the average height person enough room to walk, jog, and run comfortably.

There is a solid steel frame; the treadmill is durable and capable of supporting users up to 220 pounds in weight. It also has an Easy Fold mechanism which makes it easier to fold up the machine when not in use. Another feature is the Soft Drop system. This prevents damaging your carpet or wooden floor when opening the treadmill. Underneath the machine is a pair of rubber stoppers that prevent it from moving around when in use.

PROS

  • Strong Motor
  • Nine workout programs
  • Folds up when not in use

CONS

  • Manual Incline
  • Only 1-year warranty

VERDICT

The silent quality of the Sunny Health and Fitness Treadmill alone makes it the perfect companion for your fitness goals at home. At a running surface of 15.75-inch x 48.82 inches, it doesn’t need a lot of room to fit into the corner of your personal gym either. If you compare the price with other electronic treadmills available in the market right now, the Sunny Health and Fitness Treadmill is actually quite cheaper and a good value for money at less than $500.

INDEPTH PRODUCT REVIEW

The Weslo Cadence G 5.9 has a running surface of 16″ x 50″ and a maximum user weight of 275 pounds. It requires 29″ x 65″ of space but can be folded when not in use.

We found this treadmill to be surprisingly comfortable. Welso uses “comfort cell cushioning” to prevent strain on your knees and joints. The running area is on the small side but works fine for walkers and slower runners. The speed ranges from 1 mph to 10 mph.

The console is easy to use. It has an LCD where you can monitor your speed, distance, burned calories and time. There is also a heart rate monitor using a thumb sensor.

Weslo Cadence G 5.9 console
The six pre-set workouts were designed by professional trainers to focus on weight loss and intensity training. The console also has a tray for holding a tablet or book and space for a water bottle.

The motor is smooth and quiet, providing a smooth running or walking experience. There is enough power to keep your workout challenging.

One of our favorites things about the Weslo Cadence G5.9 besides the great price is that ability to fold it when not in use. This allows you to have a treadmill even if you don’t have a lot of dedicated space for it.

  • Good Value for Budget Price
  • Easy to set up
  • Easy to store
  • Quiet when in use

CONS

  • Running area on the small side
